IMPORTANT: Re NAME CHANGES & TAGGING

Ok folks, some of us have suffered changes to our tagged names... I'm currently talking to Zynga about this problem, and will get back to you asap with their response. Until we know more, PLEASE do not attempt to correct your name, or enter a new one, as you could well be wasting valuable Godfather points.

What they have said so far is this:
Hello Steve,

Thanks for contacting Zynga.

We understand
your concern over the name change that went amiss. I'm sorry that
happened. It does that sometimes specially with special characters.
Please respond with the name you were trying to change into and your
User ID so I may credit you back the 15 Godfather points. By the way,
the game will only allow 15 characters in total for a name. Also, there
is the possibility that it might not be able to properly display
special characters.


I can't understand why they say "s maximum of 15 characters" - Ive seen some with literally dozens in, and I'm certain you will have seen some too!

was wondering about that i have to say. but it only seems to look odd in your own profile from what i can see? when players copy and paste it in comment boxes it looks fine?

Ive also noticed the problem with displaying the original clan tag but I think that with a simple modification to the tag, retagging as [ C4RP ] then there would be no probs and we still maintain our unique clan identity
what does everyone think?

Yeah, I tend to agree Steve, if we get a few suggestions we can create a poll and put it to the vote... so what other options for a new tag do we have folks?
